a timeless lyric.....
reading through my blog as I prepare to put it into some other form I realized that life was indeed very different just one year ago. I honestly feel the most physically profound change is my hair. There were a few pics in the blog of it when it was first coming in and very curly and now one year later it is 8 inches long!!!!!! Blonde!!!!!! ;) And a mess of curls, waves and straight sections...oh well...it will always be its own boss:) But now let me blow your mind a little if I may......supposedly our hair has a seven year "growing cycle". And mine would have started from last year when it began growing from scratch after chemo....
So here it is folks..the first math word problem of 2010:D
K's hair grows 8 inches a year. It completes this cycle for seven years. How long will it be if she never cuts her hair during that time?
Bonus...if she is five foot seven inches tall...where will that have said hair end up falling at the ends?
Just a random new year thought!
