Ok..I really don't think I can do this everyday... really.


Maybe that says more about my time management skills than I would like to admit...or maybe it just says that my life is not nearly as interesting as a every day blog requires....or maybe that I am forgetful from chemo brain...ohhhh.....

I think I will take option 3 :P Which on that subject...is still here, but very limited...it is still the word issue....I know what it is I just can't remember the word....like I can describe the attached section on your house where you park you car and have tools and stuff....and then someone says garage and I say Yes!!! Because I truly could not remember that....or maybe I'm just getting old! ;P

Anyway, it has been a sick week around our household. Ed has been sick for over a week and Lexi has been feeling icky for a couple of days. I feel ok but my knees hate the barometer swings! And sweet Belle has been good if stuffy and so I just didn't get to it yesterday, plus that was all that happened!

Onto today which was actually jam packed! I helped at school and Belle's class gave their teacher a mini baby shower-which went very well. We used the last 1/2 hour of the day and the kids watched her open a few gifts and then they did a word search while we played the game "Guess the mommy's waist size"! Which consisted of the guesstimating how big around their teacher was using squares of toilet paper as the measuring tool. I thought it worked out perfectly since we were using math time and technically it was mathematical.....regardless it was great fun to see the kids try and guess how many. I have played his game at showers before and maybe one guest will get the right size......6 kids did!!! I thought that was pretty amazing myself:) Lastly they had pink cookies since the baby is a girl and I think it was a smash all around:)

Then onto Scouts with the Juniors who are really working hard to get things ready for the fair they are doing next month. I am only slightly worried that it won't happen.....but only slightly.....cause I have a whole month to get panicky about that~sheesh;P LOL ...kidding....mostly...eventually I will go into my 'event frenzy' as it has been referred to by some...I prefer to call it my awen. I go into overdrive and magically it all works fine:)

Then lastly for me I had a meeting up at school about how to help our kiddos via the "7 Habits" framework. It was a small group (probably due in part to the Pinewood Derby in the gym) but it was very informative and I think people took away some good ideas, including moi! So if you are a fellow parent at our school I highly recommend getting to a Parent Coffee this year if you can:)

And now....I am headed to bed...to dream of some pretty sparkly white floaty things....that will probably go right past us...sigh.....
