Fipples

Ok...I debated doing this but I just have to. You see ever since finding the page on FB I have been thinking a LOT! Not just about bras and swimsuits, which I think I may have found another solution too...but I'm not jinxing it yet;P but there were some amazing photos on the page of what women had or hadn't done after their mastectomies in the fipple area.
~There were of course the blank foobs. Just globular blobs with possibly a faint line across from the scar (which gives me great hope for the fading future of mine! ).
~There were some with actually stick out fipples. Which if you have been following know I am against those for me because of the principal of never wanting to have to wear a bra again and why have a fipple that is always 'alert' but with no sensation....not my thing.
~Then, and these were cool, the 3D fipples. Yes, I said 3D!!!! So while there was not actual projection and no need for a bra, there was still the illusion of a fipple when you looked at it. Which may seem somewhat silly considering that in all honestly the only people who are ever gonna see my fipple are family and women at the gym...and maybe if I ever go to the Big Easy on Mardi Gras I will let them do what their predecessors never got the chance to....naw, prolly not:D, but...I see them. Every time I look down and every time I get out of the shower...ok, I guess we could move that particular mirror too but still...I see them. And right now....they look like Barbie boobs with scars...and...scars that are not even symmetrical! Not that I am a big symmetry person, I'm really not. But our eyes have been trained to view certain things in certain ways and the scar across my right foob is angled whereas it is a straight line across the left foob. So when I look in the mirror I see the illusion of everything being off because of the scar, with clothes they look even and fine. But anyway I am thinking that perhaps I should create a different illusion on the foobs to fool my brain when I look at it and that might help.

And then...I saw it. The. coolest. photos. ever.

~Some brave woman had her foobs 'cupped' in a "garden design" tattoo of flowers and vines and a bee and a humming bird. It was amazing! And...one would have to think that technically she would no longer need a bikini top either! (Although that is not my solution for the time being, it is an intriguing idea isn't it??? LOL )

Anyhoo....just some thoughts I had of late.

Now, a HUGE shout out to http://www.littlehillswinery.com/ in St. Charles for a fabulous meal last night. I love seafood and had the lobster ravioli and it was sublime. Although it should have been called seafood ravioli as it had crab meat, shrimp, scallops and lobster in both the ravioli and the sauce, which was perfectly fine with me, but just a clarification should anyone go and get it. And the sauce was perfect. A lite yet creamy white with just a hint of sweetness and brandy but not too much so it was an ideal compliment to the slightly spicy tang of the ravioli mixture. YUM. Really. I am not a food critic...just a picky eater but Ed agreed with me:) The crab stuffed mushroom appetizer was wonderful too, and the Baileys cheesecake dessert was also delish, as was the wine, we had a Riesling:) Basically everything was great. Add to that the fact that there were only two other couples and then they both left before our main dishes came so we had the place to ourselves! They also have a huge patio area with roaring fire pits that we are going to go back and try out as they looked incredibly inviting but we didn't see that until after we were done. Anyway...I highly recommend it, we will be going back:)

And...I started this LONG before midnight on Monday the 18th but somehow I got rid of spellcheck in blogger and so I am having to cut and paste between Word and here for that and it takes a lot longer!  But this is technically Mondays's blog:)

So blog ya in the mornin'-
