Not yet

You can't be that old that you roll those eyes at me all the time, I remember your baby belly laugh, not yet.
You can't be that old that you sometimes look grown, I remember your first words, not yet.
You can't be that old that you're picking your 6th grade classes, I remember the second you were born, no, not yet.

Sooo....Lexi went to the middle school today for a tour and then an introduction into the extra classes that she now gets to choose.  She of course had already chosen by this evening and filled out her sheet and I signed it and it is now ready to go back tomorrow!  She wanted to go get a lock for her lockers too!!!!  While yes, I am thrilled that she is excited about middle school as that is half the battle....part of me is just not ready yet for a middle schooler.  Part of me will NEVER be ready for a middle schooler!

So, I am issuing this formal protest here that we somehow freeze time or something...just for a sec, so I can catch my breath because....whew...nope, still not ready yet, this may be harder than I thought!
