Scattered

There's so many things going on I feel somewhat like I have been shorn into little pieces and tossed about so I can't actually reconnect and get anything done ...cause I don't have super powers like that-rats!


My thoughts and prayers are directed at Haiti and although they are with everyone there who is suffering, they are especially focused on the little girls that my parents visited on a mission trip last year. They have supported them for years and were thrilled when they actually got to go meet them. They had nothing and now they have less.....how can you have less than nothing?

And then I am back in my little world where I am the parent of a 5th grader which means next year a sixth grader which means a middle schooler which means she will be a full-blown certifiable pre-teen.....I am too young to have a pre-teen...dang nabit...I mean...geeze......I don't want to grow up.......
(I know most of you continued singing just like I did...stupid ToysRUs brainwashing us like that! ) but seriously...I don't want to grow up because ...well... do you know how early middle schoolers have to get up these days in our area to get to school?!?!?!?!?

Way.Too.Early.

And me not being a morning person~ not sure if you'd noticed but a lot of my posts come late at night:) ~that totally stinks.Totally. Add to that the fact that along with that comes the joys of raising a pre-teen(and yes....to all of my aunts, uncles and my parents~ha, ha, I get it, payback...yeah, yeah) and a twit, I mean tween.....it's almost too much. Ok, not really, but it was a bit much tonight when we got home from being overwhelmed about our oldest getting older to a bad babysitter night on our girls part and then a bad email night from other things that are way too complicated and annoying for me to spend more energy on now.

And since it has been one of those days, I will now go crawl under my comfy & cozy covers, stretch out and then curl up and drift off to what I can only hope is a less eventful dreaming sleep than today was on whole.
