My mom came over and we did get the shopping done~thanks mom~xoxo
and B made it safely to her party thanks to a wonderful mom who picked her up! Ed was all ready to take her and the doorbell rang and there was one of my Brownies smiling saying she was there to get B! To which we looked at B and she oh-so-very-non-chalantly says, "Oh yeah, BBF2 is picking me up and taking my to BFF1s party!" Ed and I looked at each and shrugged and said, "Ok." And then thanked the very, very nice mom of BFF2 who has also helped a lot recently with the troop and happened to be there to witness my skillful plunge down the steps too!
So off they went and an apparently fabulous time was had by all because B came home exhausted but happy:) Unfortunately Lexi is not faring as well. Ed took her to the Dr. this week and she has a massive infection and only being two days into the meds is not helping, so she is staying home and resting right now and just trying to feel better-poor babe:( and is missing one of her BFFs bday parties...sigh.
I am feeling better in the footal area....still staying off of it, but it is not nearly as swolllen and less purple too, so that is progress:) My plan is to keep doing that tomorrow and well frankly, as much as I can till break and luckily I don't have all that full of a schedule except Monday when I have three Dr.s appts.....but...that will be a lot of sitting hopefully soooo.....just gonna keep elevating, and adding some flexing in too, but mostly being gentle and not pushing myself...which is soooooo not my typical behavior, it's taking all the strength I have to not do things like empty the DW and do laundry, and other people do them as soon as I ask...but....I hate not being able to ya know........I suppose this could be a small reminder lesson that I need to slow down and chillax......ok..I hear ya, I am!
