Shameless Plug

Ok, I don't know if you have looked at my links on the side of the page there---->
But I am going to shamelessly plug one in particular- Song of Sherwood. It is actually the link to the website that promotes my husband's books. He has written a trilogy of historical fiction that revolves around Robin Hood's descendants and their adventures in the crusades and other journeys. They are fantastic novels and each tells a unique story. I m not just saying this because he wrote them, they are really good and as it is July and some of you may have finished your summer novel already, you should check it out. The site will link you to another site, lulu.com, where the books are published on demand or you can download a FREE e-version. Either way, they are very enjoyable and each one gets better in my opinion:)

And that leads me to my second shameless plug..for moi! I have decided to write a book about my journey through cancer. As I read everything I could get my hands on, I discovered something that was a tad shocking, there was not a single book written by a woman who was in the 35 yr old age range who was already married and had kids(that was not a cartoon book) and after some reflection I realized they were probably all busy but still..someone should do it, no? So I have started and am doing a few pages a day while it is fresh in my mind and I was planning on incorporating some, if not all, of my blog posts in it, as well as some of the comments to them but I wanted to let you all know first. I would never include something that you did not want included or even if you wanted it changed to anonymous if you put your name, but I wanted to give you all the opportunity to have a say so first.

Anyway, that is my ongoing project that will not be done until I am of course, so don't expect anything before the New Year. Other than that and not being able to sleep much again last night, I am doing well and looking forward to the girls coming back tonight and having chaos reign once again:)

Blog ya later-
K

Good for you!! Have you read Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert? You write a lot like she does. I think you should put your tiny cartoon character on the cover. Just a suggestion :) Jean

Great idea Kara. We enjoy reading your blog and feel you have a talent in that area. And to your advantage you have an author living with you who can give you advice, a mom who can edit (when asked), and two wonderful inspirations! Go for it girl!!!
